Basic Healthcare Needs
The Piereck Clinic is a small family clinic started in 2016, with an initial vision of taking care of the health of the children within our schools, due to the high rate of death due to a disease called “Malaria”
Since the opening of the clinic, we have not only helped the children within our schools but also it has become a community clinic that continues to reach 6 surrounding communities providing basic care and nutrition education. The nearest clinic outside of the Piereck Clinic is 7 kilometers (4.35 miles) away from the community.
Since 2016, the Piereck Clinic has seen over 40,000 individuals, approximately 477 monthly or 23 patients daily Monday-Friday. The clinic is staffed with a Doctor (General Practitioner), a Pharmacist and a Nurse.
Yearly it takes $36,000 to run the Clinic and have excellent healthcare for the surrounding communities.
